Video is the wave of the future. I actually watch the youtube videos that show up in the search listings. They're usually better good.

Which is better Camtasia and Pinnacle Studio? Also what are the recommended cameras?

Camtasia and Pinnacle Studio do different things. I have both tools, but thus far have not really learned Camtasia.

Pinnacle Studio is a full video editor that works best for editing and combining video clips, adding background music, adding menus, transition effects, etc.

Camtasia is best know for its screen capture features. Most of the how-to videos that show you how to do something with other software is done with Camtasia.

The learning curve for both of these tools is formidable if you want to use them to their fullest.

Buy a high definition camcorder with good low-light capabilities. The HD camcorders have many more features. They all work pretty well, but from the research that I did, the Sony and Canon models produce the sharpest videos with the best colors. If you want to do professional videos, make sure that the camcorder has a microphone input. Most camcorders do not have this feature. I just bought a Canon Vixia HF M41. If you like that one, it's a $699 camcorder currently on sale at Best Buy's online store for $399.

Almost any camcorder can produce nice YouTube videos if you know how to use it.
You can have it fast, good or cheap. Pick any two.

I tried it years ago but adsense in youtube aren't for Asians like me so I thought its for invitation only.

    Hi,

I really don't know the answer. I heard that you can apply. I was ask to join and others that I know were asked also.

Sorry for your bad experience, Sami, but it's good to know. Makes me think of just making videos that are good and will hopefully gain popularity on their own (when I start making videos). It sounds like the only real advantage to being a partner is the AdSense thing.

The share of the advertising commissions is probably the only reason to strive to become a partner. There are several partners who pull in more than $100,000 per year in revenue sharing from the advertising.

    Hi,

I can thinks a few very good reasons to be on youtube.

Getting your product or service seen.

Linking to your site (Not a day goes by that I do not see people from my youtube links)

Youtube is one huge search engine. (maybe not all people are lazy like me but if I can watch a video for information before reading a web page for it I will)

Being a partner is a good thing for the extra earning.

Traffic and sales is still the most important part. Youtube will help you brand your product or site.
