Do you still design for IE6?

I have never designed for IE6, and I never will. I have actually joined the IE6NoMore.com movement (I even made a MyBB plugin for it).

My school has upgraded to 512mb of ram and IE7(At least it's not 6). They use to run firefox but the crappy system admins got rid of it because they couldn't work how to get the same level of control over it.

yes that is the main reason I've heard that they still use I.E 6. They are using other *cough control* software that only works with it and other applications.

lol also even 512 is still behind the times. Mine has 4GB. Ram is not expensive as it used to be. Look you can buy a GB for about 20 bucks.

I know from my own expiriance, it's a nightmare to make a perfect design for FF and also for all IE versions.. because I had this problem and I didn't have all IEs installed on my computer, I found this greate IE emulator, that shows you how your sites look in IE 5.5, 6.0, 7.0, and 8.0 beta..

No surprise. Schools buy computers for thousands of students. Not individual. So to replace or upgrade every computer in the school will cost a bomb.

You can get a ram for $20. But to buy more than 1,000 pieces will cost them more than $20,000.

At that given rate, they could most probably buy it directly from the source at wholesale value.

Nop, not at all. From the very beginning I always test my site at least in three major browsers and all of them must be updated. I design and test in IE, Opera, and Firefox. Now I also test in Google Chrome.
