Hi,
My blog is showing some small HTML errors and I was wondering if it is absolutely essential to fix it.
Do you validate your pages?
Cheers!

Spend the time to validate it. Any errors you have in the future make for easier fixing. Having valid code has solved problems for me countless times. I used to argue that it is just good form. Now I just think you are crazy not to because it has saved me tons of time.

If the error is big, and shows badly in IE etc. then surely validate it.
Personally i don't validate it but if it's for a business company and such i would and if i can't like said at top i would hire someone![]()
I always start with a validated design, but when using WP I have found many of the plugins cause it to become invalid.

That is a real issue, and I am often stuck fixing the plugin myself. Then there comes the pain of finding out it's messed up again, after you upgrade a plugin. So now I keep a note section just for plugins so I know which ones I fixed.
That just gave me an idea...a plugin to validate bad plugins!

I validate because that ensures that it works in all browsers. Of course plugins mess up validation, as does some WP code, but I do my best.
Yeah I only validate my website when Im designing using xhtml/css other than that then no
