I'm using Check Browser Compatibility, Cross Platform Browser Test - Browsershots to test it. Though these are the browsers I have installed on my PC:
Firefox
Opera
Safari
Internet Explorer
Chrome
So if the site works in these major browsers, they should be in others..
I have a pc laptop and a mac osx desktop.
Desktop has Opera, Firefox, Safari, ie7 - through parrallels.
Laptop ie 6,ie 8,ie 7, chrome, firefox and safari.
I find there is no substitute for looking at the site within the browser and on a machine running the browser natively.
I know I'm lucky to have the option of each major browser on a native machine.
multiple ie copies running through Virtual PC.

I use virtual PC and the provided disk images for developers for IE6/7/8 on XP

The best way I recommend is Check Browser Compatibility, Cross Platform Browser Test - Browsershots Most people use it. Very convenient and easy to use.
Yeah Browsershots and the like are good -
unfortunately you cannot easily test the shots whilst moving the window or examine some forms of dynamic content.
A good standby though agreed.
I usually use browsershots, but here is a good one for just IE. It's a little simple, but works fast: IE NetRenderer - Browser Compatibility Check -
