A logo is essential to any serious website. It’s what defines your brand, it’s what makes you ultimately standout during those crucial 'first impressions'.
In my opinion a logo of some description is needed for every site out there. When I come across sites for the first time and they lack logos it does portray an air of incompletion on their part. Which cause you to make sub conscious conclusions on the rest of the site.
These may be good conclusions, but for the majority they are negative. In today’s internet you really need to stand out from the crowd to secure the attention of net users. If they are not happy with what they see, they simply jump to the next Google result down!
Sure, I'm bias as I run a logo design company.
it is important especially if its also your favicon. they;ll recognize it when they see it in their bookmarks
Hi G!
I'd just like to say that the downwards "swoosh" on your Finance Forever logo, coupled with the "eve" above it, really looks like a sad face to me.I'm not a psychologist, but that might be influencing how people feel when they're on your site! E.g., it looks like a place to complain about financial matters!
No logo is better then a bad logo,a logo has to be unique and has to burn itself into the memory of your clients/visitors
Its what makes people remember your brand, and if you want a professional image, you need a logo
I personally use my Coat of Arms as my "personal" logo, but have not yet developed a brand name or logo for my future ventures
logo tell what about ur business is, decent logo can lead ur visitor to stay at ur site for long time because he can understand without scrolling down what about ur site/product is.
I must admit, Jalpari, you started an interesting thread...
For a brand recognition Logo plays the vital role, just having a glance at it people recognize you...
