Thread: Best Web Graphic/Icon Tutorials?

I've been scouring the web for some good web 2.0 tutorial on creating web graphics and icons online. Similar to buttons, banners, logos, advertisements, etc... I'm wondering if anybody has any suggestions for some popular tutorials with good results?

If you are using illustrator then Vector Tutorial and Vectortuts+ | Adobe Illustrator and vector tutorials, from beginner to advanced. are good places to start (at the latter you need to pay I think).

So many new graphic designers want to jump straight to the computer and start working on graphic design. Graphic design is judged by color and creativity. How good your color and graphic maybe, if your graphic is not appealing, people will not be eager to give you a good feedback. Everyone is not born with a quality of creating graphics that are pleasing to the eye. There is a trade off between making your graphic design. However please add your IDEA about graphic design……………

and this from someone who uses a light-green for his text color,this must be a parody of some sort.
