one of the odd experienced regarding to my web host was transferring an acct, it took me months to have them successfully transferred. until now they haven't given me an exact reason why it took that long.

One of the worst experiences was with TMZ. During the DDOS attack my websites were down for about an hour as much 7 times a day. This went on for about 2 weeks. The are starting to pick up again though.

I have never had a problem with any of my webhosts, i was with hostgator and now I am at media temple because it handles more traffic - although i recommend purchasing a cpanel hosting which mediatemple is not
Let's start where I started a few years ago:
Warp3.Com -- Never answered any of the support tickets, their domaining service was bad as hell too. It's a big suck hosting in the business.
Prahost.com -- The owner used a nulled version of WHMCS and as I was a customer before the WHMCS was in use, I never had to pay anythingBut after 2 months, he found out and I paid, though the hosting was more offline than online.
IwhiC.Com -- Their support was awesome, at least sometimes. Their hosting though meant nothing, once again always down and the speeds were amazingly slow. On top they than merged with Ahosting, and that's where I decided to quit hosting with them.
Nikkelhost.com -- Their mySQL servers did nothing, they aren't hosting a lot clients yet, but they host them all on the same server which made my sites unavailable for visitors. I moved fast to a better host afterwards.
ForciumHosting.Com -- They used to be good, thousands of good reviews etc so I tried them. Just like the others, their hosting was slow and had a lot of downtime. They sold all their clients to another hosting company who charged me a few 100 bucks for the hosting, I never paid so they suspended me (it wasn't a big loss though as my files were somewhere else already)
TmzHosting.Com -- Like mentioned above, they had thousands of Ddos attacks, and put too many clients on one server. Than they suddenly highered the prices with like an extra 150% of the current priceBut looks like they're doing better again.
Ok this is my hosting history, some people are probably glad they aren't me, no?
Edit: Could be that I forgot some btw![]()
