I have one from hostineuro with 512mb ram. For 10euro hosted in Netherlands.
Working fine for last 3 months.

I use Hawk Host and its the best host currently around. Every plan of theirs is priced at a very low rate, i also suggest you obtain coupon codes from webhostingtalk.

All Quillhost's plans are 256M or higher. 256M is suitable for multiple Wordpress blogs. The rate quoted by Small was after a voucher, usual costs are around $7.99/mth

Also, SolusVM is provided to customers to control our VPS(s)

I agree, what performance would you get from VPS for such prices? As for me better to use quality even if pricey VPS, eg Serverpoint company is providing stable VPS for a reasonable prices

I would worry about lack of support/reliability for plans for VPS that are cheaper than fully-supported reseller hosting.

Why go for such low cost VPS such as $5? What is it that you need to do that requires VPS? I'm mainly curious.

I'm going to buy a VPS with a cost around $5. Disk space, bandwidth & RAM etc isn't that high, but I'm going to use it just to do some testing with building accounts, trying some scripts on it etc
