    Reliable VPS

    Hi,

It looks like I'm going to have to move to a VPS. A couple of my sites are wasting too much bandwidth and taking up too much load on the shared hosting account that I now have.

Does anyone know of a good, reliable VPS provider? I don't want to move to some new, too cheap, and unreliable hosts -- I am looking for a reputable company, even if I have to pay a bit more. As far as the specifications are concerned, I'm not really sure. I know that I don't need anything too much -- just something that can handle these two sites. I'm guessing a basic VPS package would do just fine.

    What can you recommend?

    Thanks in advance!

I have never heard about ServInt, to be honest.

    Any more suggestions?

By the way, it seems that the cheapest VPS costs around $50 (has specs that I need, and is reliable). Is that a good price?

I'm using and recommend everyone 1and1. They have cheap, very reliable hosting with a lot of bandwidth and processing power for the prices they ask.

The only downside is their sloooow support, so if you can't manage your server yourself, then you shouldn't go with them.

I personally have a VPS with igxhost.com and have been very happy with their service. They are quite expensive but I guess you get what you pay for

Stay away from 1&1 if your sites are important to you and I would avoid any host with "rapidleech" in it's name imho.

I have seen a few people on WHT selling very cheap unmanaged VPS services as low as 15 to 25$ a month with huge bandwidth quotas and space. Anybody tried them? I have paid for one 15$ package but my VPS is not set yet. So I won't be able to give a review here yet.
I planing to host a few open proxies.
