Reseller hosting - good or bad?

I'm thinking about changing my hosting to a reseller hosting account, which is (obviously) the kind where you can re-sell part of your quota. Does anyone have any experience of reseller hosting - good or bad?

I have to resellers for my sites. And they are excellent. I can manage my accounts or give my friends. Great if you are stand alone designer who have few clients and not so big sites...

Well if you have multiple sites, then surely it;s good for you to get a good (and big) reseller hosting account which can sell thus saving your money in your hosting account

And who knows if things work well you can even upgrade it to master reseller or probably get your own servers

P.S. But before you get a reseller account, don't just do for cheap ones. Because I have a lot of bad experiences with them. Check for those who have large client base or long history.

  4. Once you provide hosting for someone, you're usually on the hook to provide technical support.

That's why I avoid hosting anything for anyone. Customer support can be a living hell.
