Thread: TMZHOSTING down again. this time i am in real trouble. SHIT!!

    First of all on SDSTMZ the uptime has been 100% until today. Someone decided to send out 200,000 emails and crashed the server. Our monitoring system did not catch it because port 80 was up. We had problems with our proxy hosting yes, but after the new server the uptime has been 100% on our proxy hosting to. If you have not tried our shared hosting please dont comment on it because its much faster than other hosts and the uptime is much higher than other hosts also. I am sorry for your loss, but things happen.

    but i can't take that risk again. i was having few problems with your host since i got it. i have external monitor service monitoring my site. i just want to get refund for at least the rest of the month, so i will switch to another hosting. i agree that your hosting was fast but bad uptime. 5hr down!! i can't take this risk again. i am searching for good uptime hosting on WHT atm. hope that you will refund the rest money asap.

    You wont find a host that has straight 100% uptime because they have to take down the server to do security updates, patches and what not. If they do have straight 100% uptime then you better hope your files are backed up because their server is not secure.

    Tmzhosting has been good for the past 10 months. But did you notice the time when the server went down? I'm on the same server as well and had a loss of $xx. But I just can't blame them. This was for the 1st time. Even I was equally annoyed as you are, but such small things happen. You shouldn't get annoyed and ask for a refund. Don't forget that Tmzhosting has served you for 4 long months without any downtime or problems (and you probably have got orders worth thousands because of this). Anyway, I don't think you should make this small downtime an issue and move on. 5 hours of downtime in 4 months is like the best uptime any provider could offer. As far as your $1500 order is concered, talk to your client again and I'm sure you'll get it back. Even if you don't, there is always a next time.

    I dont agree with your line 4 months straight uptime. i had a lot of problems these 4 months which Daniel knows. also i have my monitoring service report on my hand. but still those downtime was less than today's downtime and can be ignored. but today it was down on a official meeting. hope you know that situation. any way i can't even get the $1500 deal back, it was a straight no from company CEO.
