Thread: TMZHOSTING down again. this time i am in real trouble. SHIT!!

Hi Guys, TMZhosting is down again.

The moment i am writing this post , the server sdstmz.com is down, but there main site is up.

even live chat is dead.

This time i am in real trouble. my company F l a t b a r i . com representative had gone to meet with a local giant real estate developer (advanced real estate developers). i just received call from my company stuff that the site is down and how can they give presentation in this situation. they are in meeting room and holding there finger crossed. I am totally busted right now. I think this will end my company reputation and ofcourse will lost the contract project with them. FUCKK!!

Damn i hate this kind of downtime. WHY WHY WHY???

i already paid yearly for the hosting. I would like to get refund for rest of the month i have ASAP. will switch to some reliable hosting by tonight.

Dam man that really sucks. Theres no way to get the files to them any other way?

yah i ill get the files once the server is up. i dont mean the server is totally dead. it's on downtime

Aww man that just sucks man. Well mabye you should just change to a reliable host. TMZHosting has been going downhill since the start of the year. I myself have just changed host this afternoon.

i will change host after i get refund for rest the of my months.

i paid $59/yearly on 01/03/2009

so if i calculate i will get refund for my rest 8 months. that will be $39.33

What's your loss?

loss is 5 hr downtime. result lost the $1500 project. the site was online just 1 hr ago.
as i have used the host for 4 months i am claiming my rest 8 months hosting payment which i have already paid for.

So basically you've lost $1500 to say the least.

I know this is not a good time to point this out as you might be pissed enough already, but I think you really should consider getting a decent host for future projects; I don't think you can rely on a $60 per year host for your projects.

Cheap != Quality

Like Shenron says, for big deals you should go to good hosting. It sucks that you lost the money -- But that's TMZHosting, after all these negative points about TMZ I wouldn't have uploaded my project to there...

Still it sucks and I hope you get the refund

basically my site does not require much bandwidth and space. its like 200 mb space and 10 gb bandwidth. if you see this kind of plans are $5-6/month highest in web hosting industry. The most i care about is uptime , speed, reliable. I took hosting from tmz as of there reputation was high on DP and here for uptime but looks like they become worst few months ago. my bad luck. and yes i have lost a deal of $1500.

Hope that i will get my refund asap.
