Yes its around 60% search engine. Every once in a while a school still finds it. I assume the schools that do are low budget schools that cant afford the fees of the filtering services. Not sure though. Last school I can recall was Wilson in SoCal as they loved the chat room. Adsense off it covers my server bills and my Cox cable bill. The income from the other ad networks on the proxified page are what I use to fund my other projects.
You can make money from proxy sites. Just make your site and promote it for serch engine like google, yahoo and MSN. And any time a user go to your site you will find some money.
Well then how you explain my proxy site, my only one made for SEO currently in top 10... was there for months, isn't making money, it's 1 year old. It's all about luck i think, the term, is a good one in my opinion.

Today My adsense revenue from one of my proxy is $0.05 with one click,14.29% page CTR and it is below 10 days old!
My proxy revenue was good last week, this week it sucked, but it's the summer, so who cares I get around 800 visitors/day on my proxy and it's almost all US and no advertising, so I except it to get around 4k/day in October - and that's like 5 times as much money.
