I doubt its a sign that development will continue, Probably just an easy way of getting rid of the spam posts. There was so many. I doubt that will stop the bots, they are probably made to recognize all popular forum software. To stop bots you have to pro-active in deleting the crap. :o
Well I am taking this as a step forward - if he had no further plans why go as far as buying an IPB license?
Lol, the second thread on the new forum is spam hahaha. :p
Let's hope so :) But I still wonder why he didn't continue with 1.1 instead..
Yep ,looks like there is one already there again. lmao
I think the Glype forum is in one of the spam lists. Sort like how people compile lists of directories, well spammers might compile lists of forums that have no moderation.
Now the glype owner will have work like 10x harder to stop them, if had he just deleted the stuff to begin with the forum wouldn't end up in one of the lists right?
Probably should change the forum url might temporarily thwart them.
Cool [ not really ;) ] The new Glype forum now matches their other abandoned spammed IPB forum at the proxyblockscript site.
I think we all realise unless they actually setup something to block the spam, the forum will return to it's recent glory days of non stop spammers competing against each other to flood the site with sh!t in no time at all. Too bad all the info & discussions has also been removed with the ten tons of forum spam. That's like a massive loss of data for very little, or no gain.
Hopefully there will be an update to Glype in the future though.
Looks like the Glype forum is now all cleaned up, and has the original threads back.
That surprised me. Nice.
The script owner lacked focus..
