I don't have a problem using .info domains. However I tend to use .com and .net for the "main" sites of a network.

In my most recent proxy network, the iSurf Proxy Network, I've used iSurfProxy.com as the front runner of the network. This is the proxy I promote the most and which gets most daily visitors respectively. Following that I have iSurfProxy.net which is used as a listing site for all proxies in this network as well as a general listing site for whomever wishes to submit to it. Then from there I tend to just use .info domains because they're cheaper to start, I haven't noticed any negative effects of using the .info extension. The .info may be harder to memorize for some people, which is again why the main sites of a network are .com and .net

And now I see aquarezz replied while I was typing. Must say I agree with what he says

Another thing you can do is, create a few (10 or more) .info proxies, and promote them very hard in one month. After the month is passed, buy one GREAT .com domain. Than redirect all traffic to that one domain... (I've done that before with 45 proxies redirecting to one proxy).

Why is this a good way?
- The .com proxy won't be blocked, as you just bought it, and it will directly get a lot of traffic (10 proxies with 250 uniques each = 2500 uniques daily).
- Google will let you earn a lot more since it directly gets a lot of pageviews etc. already (I believe.. some people said it to me so I trust them

)

But it's better to only do this when your proxy domains (or regular domains) are only one month left.
