Thread: GlobalInteractive disabled my account!

Yesterday GlobalInteractive sent me a $63 payment, the second payment after I've been with them since February.

Today, I got banned with an email:

Dear Publisher,

After a careful audit of your traffic we found out that the source of it comes from guardtunnel.com which was not approved by us. We are forced to terminate your account.

Thank You,

Why wouldn't GuardTunnel be approved? I've been putting ads on it for the last 5 months and now all of a sudden they ban it?

Probably they dont allow proxies in thier network or maybe the traffic ur site gets is not converting for them which country traffic do u get the most ?

Does GlobalInteractive require pre-approval of every domain up which you place their ads?

They do usually allow proxies, and my site receives mostly US traffic.

Apparently that was the case. Support told me otherwise 4 months ago when I asked

I would say that there not being honest with their reason. Since you mention in 5 months you got 2 payments one being $63, I am thinking you dont have enough impressions and ctr. So they are not interested in Keeping your account active.

I've given them plenty of impression and get more than most proxies.

Today I just learned (and I never heard of this either), that they only allow proxies that have features like geo-targeting and frequency capping.

And oh, the latest payment was for May, so technically those two payments were for 3 months. They have NET 45 payments.

In case you're interested, here's how the conversation went (after I asked to get back in):

GI: Can you do frequency cap of 1 ip per 24hr? We are basically trying to work with publishers who can generate eCPM 8cents or better.

Me: Is the frequency cap set up on your end or mine? And would this lower my fill rate?

GI: Your end. This wouldn’t really lower your fill rate since after 1/24 you are getting more cpa/cpc ads and your site doesn’t convert them and we end up paying serving fees.

Me: How exactly would I set up the cap?

GI: Implementing something like openX

Me: OK, sorry but I honestly feel that you, as an ad network, should be able to set up your system. The fact that you need somebody else to configure options you should be able to yourself tells me how good of a business you are.

I do not plan on continuing with GlobalInteractive, if this is the service that I am forced to deal with, especially since it is a first and countless other proxy webmasters I know have never had to deal with this.

Can you please send over the earnings that I have made since May, and I will no longer do business with you.

GI: Most webmasters know how to optimize their traffic. We do have proxy site that gets over .30cent CPM. We are not forcing you to deal with our network. Your account is already deactivated do to violation of TOS.

The fact that really angers me is that they expect me to set up a delivery cap, I mean, they are the network, should they not be able to set it up themselves? And they tell me how people get .3CPM when I have yet to ever hear that.

I am now using Media Shakers to fill my unfilled impressions from AdBrite. It's very little, and I appreciate if anybody would help me find a better service.
