Thread: Got spare Iran traffic?

Hi, has any one got spare Iran traffic they do not need? Places like china etc would be fine also.

Alot of people simply blackhole them to a 404 page etc so if you do that, Consider sending it to me! I am trying to get some more for my (non profit) proxy list in my sig as it is helping some new comers to the proxy world.

Hi trizi, I also have quite a lot of mid-east traffic, currently I am redirecting them to google.com using geobytes.com.(paid service ). however I wish to use ip2nation.com service as it's free, can you help me with that? I mean how to install its database and their php script etc?

Hi there, i have not used but looking at it it shouldn't be that hard to implement but it uses mysql which is something i would avoid using on my proxy servers.

Hard to advise with out knowing some information about your setup - is it your server do you have root what httpd do you use etc..

But, the ip2nation one you just load the .sql file located in this .zip http://www.ip2nation.com/ip2nation/Download using something like phpmyadmin if you have it, then see the samples section for code examples
ip2nation - resolve IP to country

Copy and paste that into say the top of index.php (before any other code or you will/may get errors when it goes to do the redirection.

Change the case statement from
case 'se':
to
case 'ir':
etc
