Thread: How to limit bandwidth daily

    How to limit bandwidth daily

    Look this web proxy
    http://trycatchme(dot)com

I think its using phproxy script.

When you brown some big pages, then display:

Resource Error: An error has occured while trying to browse through the proxy.
You exceeded your daily bandwidth limit.
Maxiumum daily bandwidth is 15 MB
Requested file size is 0.00 MB

I want to know how to do this.

    He...
    Maybe a super coder here.
I googled and found other webmasters need this too, not only for proxy sites.
Daily limit bandwidth per ip. It is a smart way for saving bandwidth.

Its very clever, for really labour intensive websites, like yours so maybe post in here, DP forums or getafreelancer.com. GL

to be honest it looks like he only adjusted the bandwidth usage in the config and the max file size. Can only download 1mb files and if you download 20+ of them you should use up your limit but you dont. When you get that warning what happens when you try to visit another site.

If was an actual coding tweak I would think it would work with some of the problem sites but it doesn't so this really leads me to think its a config setting

Reverse IP Check ಠ_ಠ Proxy Sites
    <?php if ($youask == 'stupid question') { echo ('stupid answer'); } ?>

    something more?

  7. I am not sure how to do that but don't you think it's better to use cache instead of limiting bandwidth usage and losing traffic to your site?
