How to promote this sort of proxies?

    Hello,
I read this post on WebProxyTalk:
"Undercover" Site, would like your opinions

    And this is interesting me!
I like that idea, and I'm sure it works to get your proxy unblocked less long!

The only problem I have is...

How do you promote this type of proxies? As you can't tell the word 'Proxy' on the page etc it's kinda difficult not?

Do you guys have something which can help or not?

Thanks for the answers in advance!

    Bye

These are the best but dont expect many clicks unless you create a site that will interest the users and then add a proxy bar to it. Promoting them is done only by private means. Emails only. I touched base on this a while back when I had two stealth proxy sites. Word of month travels fast and they will take off fairly quickly. I still suggest as I did over a year ago to buy a cheap site someone is selling, you see once in a while people buying dead sites and offer next to nothing for them. Benefit is the sites have already been categorized by the filters so they have no need to recheck unless reported. I took mine down as finding the perfect niche that will earn was never found. Since schools block game sites, mp3 sites etc things teenagers find interesting. If you think of any do share a niche but not publicly

Great post with tons of information!

I am also thinking about something else
A sort like ProxyKey.Com thingie.. I can advertise it on ProxLists.com and maybe make a little aff. program with it, but not very big...

The teens only have to pay like 5$ monthly, without ads, or nothing with ads
Than in fact I'm promoting 'The proxy website who will probably get never blocked' but I'm not showing the link to someone

And I can create like a lot of proxies than.. as I can just use a few of the 'normal' sites

Gotta think about it tonight, when I'm going to bed

Greetz & thanks for the post, it made me think

We spoke about this on IRC and you said it was total shit , i said other wise. You even said something on the lines like "i have better things to do than talk about dead end ideas, i have had this disucission many times seo is the ONLY way" or something along those lines and then left in a huff Glad you now see the light.

I got a few variations of "hidden"/"stealth" sites some doing better than others, but it is really hard to promote them.

I have a local school (with websense) using one for the past 6 months for example. Just really hard to scale.

Hmmm.. maybe it's to me, but I don't know when we talked about that on IRC...

Can you clarify it, to who are you talking?

Well since I am the only one left I would request that you dont make assumptions who you spoke with. I have one chat client and its MSN so unless we spoke on MSN I have no clue who you are or who you spoke with. I doubt you are on my MSN as there are only 3 people on it

At my school, personally, I am allowed to access any Web sites that I would like to - I even have full access to the Control Panel. This isn't out of laziness, it's becausae I got a scholarship and made it into a class where English, Maths etc. is performed on the computer - considering we're all going to be spending a lot of time on "our" computers, they let us personalize them a little. Note that they do monitor our usage, so I wouldn't exactly be likely to be spending 24/7 over at Net Builders.

Yay, I will be starting the "Business Studies" course today!

And do you really want the IT guys knowing you're earning more money than them at your age. It could lead to some very awkward moments
