I was just thinking of that, i can have 4-5 proxy sites. and then buy 20-25 domains and redirect them to these sites.

Well, that means i have to handle less ad code clutters. i no more have to handle ad codes for 30 sites and would be easy off with just 4-5 of them..

I am just starting out with proxies and i know there are many here who would be doing this, or atleast had this idea already.

what do u think abt this?? what are the pros and cons of this??

I would say make sure you use search engine friendly redirects if you choose to do it this way. This will prevent you from getting duplicate content penalties with Google. There are different was of achieving that depending on what web server is powering your sites. Also, expired/left-over domain traffic only lasts for so long and then dies off.

I read your post in that thread. How about i buy 5 domains, and redirect 4 of them to the 5th site. after a month or so i would sell that 5th site and i make proxy on any of the 4 domains left and other 3 domains redirecting to it.

But I am quite apprehensive about bans. I wounder how they work. suppose my proxy site is ababab.info and students use xyxyxy.info, which redirects to my proxy site, then will the school ban both of them?? or just my main proxy site??

I would be doing 301 redirect. i have heard its SE friendly.

Yes, 301 is the recommended way to do a search engine friendly redirect. Major search engines recognize this.

Well, make sure you do not promote the fifth proxy. Otherwise that domain will be banned already. If you redirect and the proxy is blocked, it won't even redirect as it shows 'blocked' page first. Though you'll receive a lot more traffic.

When you sell your fifth domain, you need to sell the 4 proxies with it (or maybe 2 or 3) otherwise the traffic could drop a lot

That would be good but it will just point my domains to the primary domain..what I am looking for is 4-5 proxies pointing to a same domain.

Just make a few addon domains, and do like 4-5 parks per addon?

As far as i know, the parked domains point to only the primary domain..unless you have a VPS with WHM.
