Cruise around with a packet sniffer running while you're surfing through a web proxy and you'll see what I mean. :)
Visit some video sites like youtube in Glype, or any site that loads crossdomain.xml files for example and you'll see they aren't parsed at all.
Not sure if you guys were planning to start completely from scratch, but there are many existing open source php proxy projects that have been abandoned besides PHProxy and even Glype was GPL up to version 0.3b.
We will try to parse everything including XML
Here is the test link of our new proxy!
after url put "www.anything.com" and tell us if it shows up correctly.
This is just a testlink parser and this is just the beginning!
This and much more will be possible. Think of centralized ad placements too.:)
I just accessed Google's home page. The header image did not load. Looks like a start, though :)
msn.com loads with images but yahoo.com shows a blank page.
Have you guys decided if this script will be encoded / ioncubed etc at some point ? Will it be open source, free version / paid version ?
I know that's a tricky situation to protect the code or not and I'd like to help with testing, but personally if I can't check the source of a script, then I'm not going to use it on a live site.
