Poor ad quality/revenue?
I use adsense and adbrite on my proxys i keep atleast a 1% ctr but what im getting per click is pennys, literally. Is there something im missing, can you choose better/higer paying ads for higher cpm?
I just started using adbrite on the proxified pages and its not doing much better.
In the last 7 days ive made a whopping 8 bucks :D
Any advice is most welcome
I haven't done proxys that much but I have heard from alot of people the revenue is crap from Adsense and I have also heard that adversal is good on proxified pages.
I have heard that also, I have some other ideas im going to start on soon maybe ill use one of those sites to get an adversal account.
Im technically making profit, if the time/labor isn't considered
The proxys are more of a learning experience/starting project but i would still like to make it a successful project if anyone has anything els to share
For the main page, I use AdSense - I am getting around $3/day with that since it's summer.
For the proxified pages, I am using Adversal Popunders (about 50 cents/day) and AdBrite with GlobalInteractive as a backup ($1/day with AdBrite and $1/day with GI on average).
So for the summer months, I'm making around $6 per day.
that sounds pretty reasonable, is there a way to show better adsense ads in place of the proxy related ones or does it have to be based on the content the adsense crawler finds on your page?
It's all keyword based, just remember that the AdSense ads that appear first in your source code will always have the best paying keywords.
