I'm just wondering how many of these lists are actually worth submitting to.. Sometimes I regret selling ProxB.Com :(

ago4.com - i do it for fun and for the learning of php. Its ad free and new so i don't make that much but the traffic is starting to come in.

submitting to low traffic lists i guess cant really hurt your proxy if you have to give a link back because most proxy's don't really work on seo. if i get one person from the list it be worth it.

I sure you know all this Aquarezz, your the proxy guru. what i dont get is why so many people use topbit to find there proxy. Me a topbit wannabe

A toplist has to start somewhere, how else do you think they get high traffic? Small traffic grows over time :P

Proxy lists shouldn't have many ads IMO, users click proxies, not ads except for the noobs that click link ad units. 90% of the earnings I had from ProxB were probably from selling spots, people found it worth spending their money to it.

If I would ever start building proxies again, once thing is sure that I won't submit to lists. It isn't worth spending 35 seconds submitting to a list where you get 1 visitor which is probably from a 3rd world country Google doesn't like or that gets blocked when they visit your proxy. I prefer spending 35 seconds a minute SEOing my proxy instead :p

Just something from myself, my best proxy was the proxy that I never submitted to any list. Not even TopBits (tech-faq back then).

The reason for that is because TopBits is on top for all those good proxy keywords. Will invested a lot of money into linkbuilding for Tech-Faq, not all people have the success he actually has had, but it invests some risks. What if it failed a lot etc. but it was worth the guess I think ;)

Thanks for sharing this list so we can submit proxies to it. Now one simple thing that might be usefull for all proxy list owners. For every message you post somewhere to attract proxy owners to submit their proxy to your list, post 10 things on forums/blogs/whatever to attract people to use your proxy. Whether it is a teen forum, a facebook message etc. ;)
