I've been putting a new web proxy listing website together for a few weeks now and it's finally reached a stage where I can release it to the public. Web Proxy List | Proxy Lister

Since it's a brand new site we are lacking in both listed proxies and visitors. I personally don't like backlinks and nobody is going to want to backlink to a site with no traffic, so for a limited time (probably around a month or two) we are allowing submission without a backlink.

In future when we have enough traffic and listed proxies to warrant it we will require a backlink and gradually remove all non backlinked proxies. A premium listing will also be introduced, probably around this time.

Of course, why should you list your proxies on a site that gets no traffic? We will be utilising paid advertising services to drive quality English speaking traffic to our site including Google Adwords.

I'd also like some feedback on the website itself. Please make any comments about what you think I could do to improve the website and maybe suggest any advertising routes I could go down to get more traffic to the site .

Remember, NO BACKLINK REQUIRED, so I will be manually approving all submitted proxies to counter spam and low quality sites. Please avoid submitting lots of "old" proxies on the same IP address (maybe 5 - 10 maximum) as this isn't really beneficial to anyone. Of course you can submit plenty of your fresh new proxies but please be aware that we will only accept ones that we feel meet a top quality standard.

That's a good idea, and it's what I did to get my list started. But, I'm receiving this error when I try to submit a proxy to freeproxy.it:

- Can't find a link back to us on your website

I just removed a lot of dead and redirected URLs from x Proxy List. It's ready for new submissions. They are approved every Monday.
