    Proxy Management Scripts

    Does anyone here run Proxy Man or another proxy management script?

    "Proxy Man" is proxy sites management script that enables you to create and edit proxy sites on the fly through a single site where you control various settings inside your site like site theme, site title, meta description, meta tags, site description text, adsense ID, adsense channel, and affiliate/topsite code. All from the comfort of one page with this script you can create and modify hundreds of proxy sites very easily!

    Making a profitable proxy network used to take days and weeks of your time, putting up sites one by one. With Proxy Man you can easily create hundreds and thousands of proxy sites on the fly from one page. Most users can put up a complete proxy in under 1 minute.

    How Does it work?

    It uses modified version of PHProxy with ability to customize it from the admin panel.
    You upload the script one time to your main domain in your hosting account and park all the other domains you want to use to that main domain. Then, just log into the admin area of the script and create 1000 proxy sites on the fly without having to upload any additional files.
    There is no limit to the number of proxy sites you can make with this script.

    If you do run one of these scripts, how is it working out for you?

    It seems kind of depressing that Proxy Man only supports PHProxy.

    Do you know of any other proxy management scripts?

    Nathan created one of these scripts, about a year ago... But lost it in the wind. He'll probably get around to coding another one sometime soon -- and if not, I might give it a try (only it won't have quite as many features).

    Seems all a person would need to do is edit one proxy script add a config.ini and then use symlinks then they could manage all the proxies on server via one script. I have got mine set this way and it works great. edit one file for adsense and even added a title,description etc page so each site has its own info.

    Reverse IP Check ಠ_ಠ Proxy Sites
    <?php if ($youask == 'stupid question') { echo ('stupid answer'); } ?>

    True. Though, PHProxy is much less complicated that something like say Glype.

    That second part sounds a little more complicated. I can't see very many informative (step-by-step) resources on how to use symlinks.

    Will try to give a basic explanation

    In you root folder of the server ( where you would see all the folders for the individual sites) create a folder called common or whatever you like

    upload you proxy script to the common folder.

    Now you need to use a program like putty

    login into your server using putty

    for the ease of of this expaination I will use

    example1 = example1.com
    example2 = example2.com

    once logged into your server using putty cd to the folder you want the symlinks ( the public_html you would have put the script normally)

    cd /home/example1/public_html

    just put your folder name in place of the example1

    now I dont know what files and folders you have in your certain script but you would use some thing like this in putty

    ln -s /home/common/index.php index.php
    ln -s /home/common/player player
    ln -s /home/common/themes themes
    ln -s /home/common/config config
    ln -s /home/common/cache cache

    replace the common with whatever name you made the folder in the beginning of this. Now my application uses a index.php/player folder/themes folder/config folder/cache folder

    after you run those lines you will see what look like folders in the folder you cd to now if you type in your web browser your site should load like normal.

    then to do another domain you will need to cd to that folder with putty

    cd /home/example2/public_html

    and then run the same lines again

    ln -s /home/common/index.php index.php
    ln -s /home/common/player player
    ln -s /home/common/themes themes
    ln -s /home/common/config config
    ln -s /home/common/cache cache

    repeat tell you have done all your sites. Now they all use one script.

    If this isnt clear enough let me know I can try to explain it better

    Reverse IP Check ಠ_ಠ Proxy Sites
    <?php if ($youask == 'stupid question') { echo ('stupid answer'); } ?>

    I think all the "standard" stuff is only good in the beginning. I did a lot of experiments with phproxy, networks etc. and finally my oldest "custom" are still the best proxies

    Mr. bill, You didn't get any issues with few glype sites sharing the same cache folder. I thought it's not possible.
