Thread: Smowtion having problems today ???

Guys, I have been very successful with Smowtion ads on the proxyfied pages. Especially the last days have been very successful. However, today my CPM for the entire proxy network is down extremely. I am seeing about 10% or even less earnings.
Furthermore the visits for one of my proxies seem to high ( ~11k pages). Needless to say that earnings are lousy as far as I can tell from the imcome column of the particular proxy. eCPM, by the way, is blank.

Anybody else the same?

Hmm, my earnings seem especially down today as well. However, I can't blame the ad network for 1 day of bad earnings. If it continues, then I will contact them about it.

Happy I am not alone Zash. Since the time I have written the post my numbers have tripled, yet still down 66% comared to the business days before today.

I don't know what happened today with Smowtion, but I can hardly believe that today's number were acurate, down ~ 90% at the same time Adbrite giving me a record pay: I show about 50% / 50% Adbrite / Smowtion.

Euh, I just signed up with smowtion, and I need some tips on how to set it up, not about adding codes etc but about site's information, what to put in tags form, and which site categories should I checked?

I am sorry but I am not being lazy here, I just think that asking those whom have experiences with smowtion will increase mu success rate.

I just logged in to check yesterday's stats, and the seem normal to me now. $4.32 is a pretty good day (haha 432)

My numbers have been in the 30 cents range all day yesterday, and late evening with 36 cents in total I started the thread.

Smowtion seems to have processed the clicks with much delay, and it ended very well, close to a new alltime high, for me too.

Next month is Smowtion payday and the estimate has just crossed the 200.00 $ mark

To start, go to your Smowtion control panel and click on My Websites in the header navigation. Choose Add New Website near the bottom and fill in the appropriate information.

You will then need to wait for it to get approved. Personally, I find that it won't get approved unless you email your account executive. To do so, go to Communication --> Account Executive. Don't use the Contact form, as they never answer that.

Once your website has been approved, go to My Websites --> Create a Set of Ads. Now simply enter the website you want as well as the banner size you want. They will give you a code and you can place that on your website.

They give you lots of detailed stats on the index, including the day's earnings (clicking on your website's name will expand a list of earnings by banner size), by month, and lots of comparisons. Click on Advanced Reports for more options.
