Thread: TMZ hosting

I'm on Jupiter and the server is offline. I'm trying to transfer my files out, but I can't cause its down...

OMG! i just submitted my proxy on the tech-faq list and after several minutes all of my websites are down. Im also hosted in JUPITER server . I already submitted a ticket, I hope they will fix it soon .

I'll take a guess and say no!

Honestly tho guys, theres no point moaning about them, you only have to read this thread to see whats going on. They started off decent, then collapsed down the drain I'm afraid.

I worked at TMZ indeed, had to give support (tickets & live chat) but I had to stop.. I really don't know why but heck, it's not that I would become a millionaire by doing that job, it made me a lil bit of money extra (and it made me have free hosting)

That's the story indeed, though I believe their shared hosting is good, but I never tried it so I can't tell it

I wonder if this is related to the server move that TMZ emailed all of its customers about?

They tried to be better again by raising their prices up, but the problem is..

They have XXX customers on server A, they buy server B as all server A clients are complaining. What TMZ does is transfering a lot of clients to server B. Because of that server B get's fuck*d up too...

That's their main problem, but I didn't do the server management, I only post what I know, and I won't blame TMZ as they are way much bigger than most of us think So that makes them already better, but ofcourse the proxy services they provide really suck since the last few months

Yes Will this is all because of the transferring. Aquarezz it's not because the servers are full its the bandwidth. Our current provider lowered our bandwidth dramatically because they were having problems so that ruined our business. The switch we are doing now will solve this once and for all and we will start having great proxy hosting again.
