All sites are back online now. Got moved to a new server

Though I lost some $$ on my adsense earnings bec of the downtime .

The new server seems nice and fast.

No one is on the new server yet i mean even if you are the IP's are not changed yet and you are on the old one.

Weird... performance is much snappier than it has been recently!

If no one is on the new server yet, what was the cause of downtime this weekend?

Yes Will this is all because of the transferring. Aquarezz it's not because the servers are full its the bandwidth. Our current provider lowered our bandwidth dramatically because they were having problems so that ruined our business. The switch we are doing now will solve this once and for all and we will start having great proxy hosting again.

The servers are like humans probably, they got their ups and downs

We are transferring people over thats why, packaging makes the load go up.

Currently the server that is being transferred is TmzProxy3. The DNS is automatically transferred so if the account is transferred over the DNS switches automatically to the new server.

But that's only if you guys are running DNS for the domains, right?

If we're using external nameservers, our sites are down until you guys email us the new IP addresses, we make the changes, and they propagate throughout the DNS system.

We are not transferring accounts and immediately powering off the old server, the reason for the transfer is to improve the quality of service and we have sent notifications to our client base about the move, why we are doing it, and what it entails.

A great majority of accounts have been moved already and nobody is going to see any downtime at all due to the transfers. The chances are that you won't even notice you've been moved unless you carefully watch what IP address your site loads on.

We've sent emails out asking that anybody using DNS hosted elsewhere such as at their domain registrar or another third party DNS hosting service contact us so that we can give them the updated IP Address information and then give them time for propagation to take full effect.

We're doing this for our customers and we plan on being able to provide a more solid and reliable service during and after the transfer.
