I recently switched to tmz hosting after hearing many great things about them from many people but all I get is a headache from them. There servers are slow at times, I keep getting a error when in cpanel that is malware or been hacked and that it keeps geting a DDOS attack going on. Does anyone else have this problem, and a solution?

I was with them a while ago and only ended up up using it for a few days because of many problems such as you experienced. They may be better now, I dont know

I'm gonna hold out a bit, it's probably just transfer issues. But if it continues I will have to move. I'm getting a VPS soon anyways, so it doesn't matter much.

We recently experienced a DDOS attack and we know there were a lot of problems because of that. For our users it is hard that their sites are offline, but for us it was much harder, this wasn't a normal DDOS attack (otherwise we'd stopped it long time already) but something special.. In fact we hired in special technicians to look into this problem but it should all be fixed now.
If you encouter a problem please make a ticket so we know about it.. some people complain about 'the problems' but if we don't know them, we can't solve them.

The only real problems I've had with TMZ are, when I first signed up they were first having some server troubles, sent in a ticket, and later that day they had me on a new server. No problems again until the recent DDoS, and you can't blame that on them, sure no one likes downtime, but they weren't the ones abusing the server. After the server move, all has been fine. The cPanel warning your are getting is because of the recent cpmove action and new ip addressing scheme, I've seen that happen with other cpanel hosts that have done the same thing. That should in-and-of itself fix itself soon, but i'm sure a ticket to support would get it looked at quicker.

For the past 5-6 days i have been opening tickets each day to complain about slowness..i am not getting any repeat visitors and i have to work hard every day to bring traffic..the server load went as high as
26.50 88.96 today..
may be the tmzproxy4 server is jinxed
But I will stick with them cos of their past reputation. but cant say for how long..i cant buy a VPS cos my sites earn less than what i would be paying for a VPS..

Hey guys. I understand your issues and I was the same as you a long time ago. Of course i would hate it if my site was slow or if someone couldn't access it. Tomorrow I will personally be working with my admins to get all of this sorted out. Will be moving some accounts around so everything becomes stable. We will move the high resource usage accounts to more powerful servers. Tomorrow I will be at the office, if you would like please open a support ticket and we can transfer you to another server.

Just don't transfer them to server 3 because only in the last few weeks was better, before was how is today for server 4 probably, don't want to have the same problems as before with server 3.

I submitted my ticket, they stated they would get me onto another server, I believe Im on the "neptune" server, waiting to get transfered. I keep getting this message before I enter cpanel "It appears that this request is coming from a referring site and might be malicious" and the refering site is TMZ. I must proceed at my own risk?
