If you want to delete all of the comments that you have not approved, here is something that should help.
WordPress › Support Is there a way to delete all comments at once?
You can have it fast, good or cheap. Pick any two.

Or do the Iowadawg thing.
Just empty out on phpadmin the comment folder.
In fact, I think all blog owners should look at their blogs and decide to do that to get rid of a bunch of old comments and to free up space.
Hi,
I use this plugin.

Works great as a cleaner.

I just new somebody would step in with a plugin recommendation that stops WP users learning anything about the tools they already have in their hosting control panel.I use this plugin.
phpmyadmin is a great database admin tool available within cPanel that so few webmasters seem to make use of. It's a pity that the "plugin" has dumbed everything down so much I think where even the most basic admin operations create a demand for a plugin. Rant over![]()

its the first time i actually use the phpmyadmin and i enjoyed it and did it to almost all my wordpress site, i remember the thread done by shenron about how to shrink the database of wordpress and so i also did it using the phpmyadmin
thanks. i thought it would also delete those i've approved before.![]()
Most WordPress users do not have a technical nature. What you say is true, but unless someone knows what they are doing, they are probably better off staying out of phpMyAdmin. A neophyte can do more harm than good in there.
Every once in a while I run into a techie-wanna-be client who thinks he knows more than he actually does. When they get into phpMyAdmin, I sometimes have to restore the database to make their site operational again.
