Thread: Free Wordpress Plugin: Suggestion Requested

Hi All,

I am small time wordpress plugin developer and now currently i am out of ideas for wordpress plugin development

so the best way as far as i can see is to ask the community what they want and one by one develop it.

so here i am asking your suggestions on how to development a plugin.

Few Points for consideration.

1. I may not be able to work on all plugin request at the same time. (Request will be one at time starting with simpler ones)
2. No Cost will be charged for this development
3. Please check the wordpress plugin center first to check if its already developed.

Note : I will also take up customization of existing wordpress plugins also.

Searching is my biggest problem if this is out there I don't know.

I would like a 468x60 like WP125 but I would like to assign what post the banner appears in.

With a code to past in the post.

That way the banner would appear only in that post and it would do the count down for me.

Advertisement has never been my forte so need to check the plugin as well search for the stuff. I suppose i can check and customize WP125 for this purpose or write some simmilar stuff.

so to summarize as to what you want is

1. a shortcode to paste on posts where you want your add to be listed.
2. a time limit till which adds should be displayed.

I hope i have captured your requirements clearly.

I will get down to it.

In the mean time Please keep bombarding with more idea's

I am not looking for this but here is an idea for you.

A box that you check to or uncheck in the admin so it show the date or don't show the date and you can pick what post you want the date to appear.
