How can I do this in Wordpress

Just at a wordpress blog and noticed something.
The main page has only so many links.
But all the interior pages have more links not shown on the main page.
Go to a post page and there are links not shown on the main page.
Go to previous posts and there are links not shown on the main page.

    My question is:
How can I set up the same thing?

  2. If I understand what you are saying, the simple thing to do is to edit single.php and the more complex solution is to use widgets and Widget Logic.
Submit Your Webmaster Related Sites to the NB Directory
I swear, by my life and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine.

For plugin developers: In regard to sidebar links: There are some useful fields in the database for the wp_links table that can be utilized, namely: link_visible and link_owner. A neat trick is to use the link_owner value to store a value affecting the link visibility. Then a plugin may switch on and off the link_visible value for each link in the wp_links table according to the page ID.

Okay, a bit too much for me!
Another idea grabbed from another blog that will not be used by me.
Thanks to both of you for your help.
    Much appreciated.

Sorry, couldn't resist sharing a tip aimed at getting more people coding rather than the focus being on looking for yet another plugin.
