    how to edit wp default plugin ?

    how to modify wordpress default plugin (recent update), i try to add some code inside the widget but not sure which files to mod.

    wordpress default plugin as in the dashboard add-on which gives list of recent updates or are you refering to something else.

    I would recommened you download a recent update plugin and modify it, This way you dont edit any core files to make updating easier. As I think the default is part of the core files.

    The default plugin is: hello Dolly followed by Akismet, but both of these have to be activated first before they do anything.
