How to import database to Wordpress?

Is there a script program or something on how to import big database to Wordpress? Or is just plain old hard work by 50 midgets?

How can you import loads of pages to a Wordpress blog with no database as well just copy and paste?

first export everything using WordPress Admin Panel -> Tools -> Export.

Then import in new wordpress installation using:

WordPress -> Admin Panel -> Tools -> Import -> Pick "WordPress"

that shall do the trick another way is exporting the actual wordpress database using phpMyAdmin or similar web applications and import it in the new site (but I guess it might require a bit of configuration)

    good luck to you

oh. WordPress' import function does support non-WP databases. check the import options under WP Admin -> Tools -> Import. you can see a variety of import options, it even supports RSS feeds.
