Move Date to After Post - Will It Increase Time Spent on Site?
I got the idea after watching this how to build a high traffic blog video presentation.
The 4 hour work week blogger suggests that people have a bias toward old content and prefer reading new content, so it's best to move the date to after the article. By default its displayed under the title on most wordpress themes. This change should increase the time spent on site because visitors won't know the date the post was published until they have read the article (if they landed on the blog post from a search engine).
Have Netbuilders implemented this change on their blogs? I've now made the change, but will need some time to measure its effectiveness.
