Needing Theme Coding Help

Hi,

I am wanting to do some hopefully small changes on a theme that I am working on.

On the single post page I would like to remove the date and author name at the top of the post.

What will the code look like so I can remove it from the theme please?

I also would like to know where in wordpress this is located

What I am wanting to do is when I use the above 2 commands the size for (Read more…, and 1,2,3,4) would be larger, and I would like to give them a different color then the rest of the links on the site.

Go to your wp-content folder, then themes folder, then to the theme folder you are using.
Go to single.php

Should look like this:
<!-- Post Date -->
<div class="post-date">
<span class="post-date-day"><?php the_time('d') ?></span>
<span class="post-date-month"><?php the_time('M') ?></span>
</div><!-- /Post Date -->

<!-- Post Tittle -->
<div class="post-title">
<h2><a href="<?php the_permalink() ?>" rel="bookmark"><?php the_title(); ?></a></h2>
<span class="post-info">Posted by <?php the_author() ?>, under <?php the_category(', ') ?></span>
</div><!-- /Post Tittle -->

Elimiate all of post date.
On post title, eliminate the span class lin for the author.

That should fix you up.

Now for the second part:
look in again your theme folder for index.php

Should be something on this:

Not ever doing this, I would imagine you would need to add in the code to make it bigger and the code to have a color.
May have to have someone look at your theme folder.

Got the author and date removed :)

I will wait on Next and More till sure on what to do that site is live don't want to mess anything up.

I have another one. How do you place an Amazon box on right and words on the left like you can a picture? So the word wrap around the amazon ad.
