Geofollow uses custom coding to pull profiles from Twitter. We don't use any programs or plug-ins.

A simple plugin like that would be hot!

Yes. I believe something not that different is already out there, but will have to look at little bit harder considering that there must be 100,000 twitter related plugins already.

100k plugins is a crazy amount. Let us know if you find something. I'm already thinking fo some good possibilities for something like this.
