    WordPress SEO Content Analysis Plugins

Which SEO content analysis plugins are you using? I am not referring to SEO enabling pliugins like All-In-One-SEO-Pack or Yoast's WordPress-SEO. I am looking for opinions about some of the plugins that actually review and rate the quality of the post content, such as ClickBump SEO!, Easy WP SEO, WP SEO Beast and others.

These are typically paid plugins, so I don't want to invest in any garbage for a test.

All of the reviews that I find appear to be written by either the plugin authors or affiliates, so I don't trust them. I am looking for some real opinions about whether or not any of these plugins actually do something worthwhile.

Why waste money on such stuff?
Just post and be done with it.
Do I obsess or care about seo of my posts?
    Heck no!
Does this mean that my posts are not indexed by google?
    Heck no!
All my posts are not only indexed right away (within minutes of posting live), but quite a few are on the first page of search results for many terms.

I hear you, dawg. The plugin is not for me, but for a client who is trying to teach a bunch of newbie content writers how to properly write articles for the web. He is looking for a tool to help rate the way that content is written.

There are certain aspects regarding how an article is written that does give it an advantage in search results. I don't obsess about how to write web articles properly, but I've been doing it for almost 15 years, so it kinda comes natural for me and probably also for you.

If you look for reviews about these types of plugins, it looks like the web is heavily salted with articles written by the guy who sells Easy WP SEO. I find it hard to believe that everyone has the exact same complaints about his competitors, but no complaints about his plugin.

I am looking for some real world experience with these plugins, including what is good and what is lacking.

That is the way marketers sell, by hyping up their stuff and tearing down the competition.

Spend some time on the warrior forum!

I can not think of the names of some marketers who really do the above, the only name that comes to mind is Ken Reno.
Those I do not buy anything from.

On the warrior forum, it gets hilarious at times all the posts on some new product.
Best ever! Damn you did it!
    Why buy any other product?
    And on and on.
You will not find negative postings, as those are removed quickly.

I sometimes buy into a WSO on the Warrior Forum. More often than not you just end up buying hype, but at least it is cheap hype. They definitely get all of their buddies together to post glorious reviews that most WSOs do not deserve. You can usually count on at least the first 5 reviews to be salted.

Yeah, the guy who sells Easy WP SEO is certainly in the group that I would expect to see over-hyping trash on Warrior Forum. I call that selling technique 'cheese marketing' because the methods are so cheesy and transparent. Guess what? I just found it being sold on WF. More

Does anyone use any of these plugins?

Very rarely do I buy at the WF.
    And when I do?
    Most times, not worth it.
Does not work as hyped, certainly when it says "install this on your blog and watch your visitor count double, triple, etc. with no work on your part".
    Money wise?
If you get in the first hours of a WSO there, you can usually get something damn cheap.

I'm not using this plugins. But it seems like a good way to educate SEO clients or at least for them to see the value in what you're providing.

Easy WP SEO is $37. But you will need the developers license to supply it to your clients. The Easy WP SEO SEO Beast costs an additional $37.

SEO Beast costs $37 and is restricted to one IP.

That is the idea here. The client wants to use it as a training tool for new content writers. I don't particularly want to buy all three at $37 each and spend days testing each one just to make a recommendation. If I can narrow it down to one I will focus on that one. Thus far, it doesn't appear that people are using these tools.

Based upon my experience with WF, almost anything sold there is most likely to be over-hyped. iowadawg is right that if you get in early with a WSO, you can pick up something damn cheap. I do pick up some of the WSOs that look interesting because it is worth it if you pick up one good idea out of 80 pages of fluff, but most of the "secret methods" are either direct violations of a TOS, or are pushing methods that have not worked for years. There was one WSO being sold a few months ago where a clown was proudly displaying his Amazon affiliate performance results, but the report was clearly dated 2005 when it was easy to make money with Amazon.

TopDogger, if I understand your OP correctly, and you're interested in content quality, I'd recommend you take a look at a plugin called InboundWriter by EightFold Logic . There's a free version, so you can give it a shakedown. It actually gives you quite a bit of feedback on a post. Maybe that'd help your client out.

Thanks, Doc. That was actually one of the plugin names that came up during my research. I'm testing it now.
