Thesis Theme for WordPress

I personally don't like Thesis. While the SEO benefits are great, there are other SEO Wordpress themes that you can get for free. Aside from that, it feels as though the theme is being overly used "out-of-the-box." I only know of two people who actually know how to mod the thing beyond default recognition.

Thesis also handles some of the aspects of blogging in a way that doesn't work with how I operate. To be honest, I'm more into hand coding and personal customization (I'm a designer) and so the "hooks" just bug me.

if you're new to blogging, or don't really know how to work a theme to your advantages, then thesis would probably be a good option. However, as a more advanced user I'm not a fan.

If you want to consider a similar concept that I personally feel is better executed, please take a look at Headway Premium WordPress Theme. The price is the same as Thesis, but headway has drag-and-drop control and better module organization.

I like thesis but it costs $$. I was thinking about going with thesis for my new blog but decided to go with this one: Indomagz Magazine Wordpress Theme | MagzNetwork Blog Design Because it was free

I just started with thesis and really like it. It's more of a framework then a basic theme. It's particularly good if you don't like messing with code, when you install the open hooks plugin.

I would stick to the StudioPress collection. I do not like the Thesis Theme.
