i tried editing my post and it gave me an error.
but to actually solve is that you have to go to your twitter account and delete your tweet about this post and repost your new edited entry so that your twitter will again re twit it

There are checkboxes that you can select in Tweetly Updater for sending tweets when you publish a post and when you update a post. There were a few old posts that I wanted to tweet, so I turned on the update tweets and re-saved the posts. The tweets went out.

I just use socialble and tiwwter them manually, that way I can control it.

Well, I virtuously installed Twitter Tools, and it does the job. Lots of options, too.
