Hi all,

Yep dummy me just found something out. I have been using the date for my site.

After a year I found out that I could set it up like this.

/%category%/%postname%/

My question is should I change it after a year? If I do I would loose all of my deep backlinks right?

Would you do that to what is now a PR 4 site with tons of pages index by google.

Yup, you can change the permalinks.

It is better for SEO purpose.

All you need to do after changing the permalinks is to use a redirect plugin(there are many out there).

These will make the old pages have a 301 redirect. So, you don't loose out on link juice or traffic.

I did install a plugin called Brian's Permalink Migration.

But things didn't work. So i uninstalled it.

Which plugin do you recommend?
